In this series, the magnificent terrain of New Zealand provides the backdrop for what is one of the most challenging and visually spectacular reality series ever filmed by an independent television company.
Twelve Australians will put courage, determination and brains against each other in the bid to win up to half a million dollars in prize money. Each week physical and mental tests will divide the competitors, as one person among them will knowingly sabotage their quest. That person is the mole.
Adding to the drama of each episode is a live weekly elimination, which will take place from Sydney's Martin Place. The contestants are asked a series of questions about whom they think is the mole so, as well as trying to secure as much prize money as possible, attention to details, conversations and actions are paramount in order to stay in the game. In the end, only three people will remain – one of them will win and another will be revealed as the mole.
